JAMES TOD

PRINCIPAL

Over the last two decades James has fostered an extensive network with key private and public organizations, civic authorities, and community groups.  He founded JTA Development Consultants in 2012, a full cycle real estate development management firm that focuses on complex zoning, mixed-use housing and office projects. James has also led initiatives including advising on the 10-year Vancouver Housing Plan and sits on the Vancouver Renters Advisory Committee and the UDI Rental Housing Committee. He oversees all active JTA Development Consulting projects. Together with his team he has led several master planning projects, brought hundreds of residential and commercial spaces to occupancy. Currently underway with approximately 2,800 market and rental residential units with 1.2M square feet of commercial, office, hotel, and light industrial spaces underway in all phases of development.

ANDREW HAWRYLUK

ASSOCIATE

Andrew Joined JTA Development Consultants in 2017, and became Associate in 2023. Andrew has led a number of complex mixed-use projects from rezoning through occupancy. His most recent project, Kitsilano Block located at 1981 Macdonald Street at West 4th Avenue in Vancouver with MCMP Architects and Magnum Projects, which launched pre-sales 2022, is currently in construction and quickly reaching grade level. This project will house a new purpose built Fresh St. Market as its anchor Tenant. His contributions also oversaw a 6-storey mixed-use secured market rental project with Studio One Architecture at 2619 East Hastings Street achieve occupancy in October 2023. Andrew is leading projects in the Broadway Plan and is also heavily involved planning and housing initiatives across the region.

BREANNA MARTIN

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Breanna has been with JTA Development Consultants since 2020, becoming Development Manager in 2023. As lead on a number of complex mixed-use secured rental and market housing projects throughout Vancouver, she has become a figure in Vancouver’s building industry. She has contributed and oversees projects at 2525 Renfrew Street, a mixed-use project by GWA Architects currently in construction, as well as applicant on a secured rental mixed-use project at 5504-5516 Victoria Drive that was successfully rezoned in 2023 and is currently in its development permit phase. Breanna is also leading rezoning proposals in Vancouver’s Broadway Plan with projects to be submitted and are looking forward over this year.

NIXON TSANG

DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

Nixon recently joined the Team and brings a wealth of expertise with experience as a Financial and Commercial Analyst with Altus Group and RE/MAX previously. He has led valuation of over 500 industrial and multi-family properties worth $7+ billion using cost and income approaches, sales, and equity comparables. Also having deep connections to the communities in which he was involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Edmonton Chao Chow Benevolent Association.

AIGO NG

PROJECT COORDINATOR

Last year Aigo became an integral part of our team as a Project Coordinator, providing crucial support for key mixed-use rental projects. With a background that involves careful project feasibility and site analysis, including preparation of pro-formas, budgets and schedules, in his previous role with a Development Consulting firm in Hong Kong, Aigo has seamlessly integrated into JTA Development Consultants. His knowledge and assistance has played a pivotal role in supporting the rapid growth of both our organization and its projects.

MARYGRACE FLORES

ACCOUNTING AND SPECIAL PROJECTS

Marygrace joined JTA Development Consultants in 2019 and has overseen the accounting administration process for all projects. Her role has been a keystone of the reporting and tracking of project costs for finance on all projects. Marygrace has also been involved in special projects including as lead for a marketing research project in partnership with BCIT that provided JTA with tools to plan and map out future community engagement initiatives.

GEANNA GALVEZ

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Geanna is our valued team member who joined us in late 2023 as an Accounting Assistant, making an immediate impact on our dynamic accounting department. Geanna brings a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience to our team, having previously served as an Accounting Clerk. Her educational background, including the active completion of the Accounting Diploma Program at KPU, positions her as a key player in aiding JTA Development Consultants' growth.
